Public Health Intern (Environmental Health) Statistician Intern

Job Description

The Public Health Intern will support our efforts in enhancing health outcomes related to environmental factors and biochemical processes.
The intern will gain hands-on experience in public health research, and environmental health .

Key Responsibilities

Assist in the design and implementation of public health programs and interventions focused on environmental health and biochemistry.
Conduct literature reviews, data analysis and develop research articles to inform program development.
Support community outreach and engagement activities related to environmental health issues and/or public health related programs.
Assist in the development of educational materials and resources for environmental health.
Participate in data collection, monitoring, and evaluation of public health programs.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure the success of environmental health interventions.
Conduct fieldwork and/or monitor laboratory analysis as required for environmental health projects and/or public health related programs.
Attend and contribute to team meetings and workshops.
Perform other related duties as assigned

Qualifications

Recently graduated from an M.Sc program in Environmental Health, or a related field.
Strong interest in environmental health, and public health.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Basic knowledge of data analysis and research methods.
Willingness to learn and adapt to new tasks and responsibilities.
