Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Business Analyst to join our team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in bridging the gap between business stakeholders and technology solutions, ensuring that business needs are met and that solutions are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Requirements Gathering:
Elicit, analyze, and document business requirements from stakeholders, including business process owners, end-users, and IT stakeholders.
Conduct interviews, workshops, and surveys to gather requirements.
Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of business processes and requirements.
Business Process Improvement:
Identify areas for process improvement and propose solutions.
Analyze existing business processes and identify opportunities for streamlining, automation, and re-engineering.
Develop and implement process improvements, working closely with stakeholders.
Solution Design:
Collaborate with stakeholders to design solutions that meet business needs.
Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of technology solutions and their capabilities.
Work closely with IT stakeholders to ensure that solutions are technically feasible and align with the organization’s technology strategy.
Requirements Documentation:
Create and maintain business requirements documents (BRDs) and functional specifications.
Develop and maintain use cases, wireframes, and other requirements documentation.
Ensure that requirements documentation is accurate, complete, and up-to-date.
Stakeholder Management:
Communicate with stakeholders to ensure understanding of business needs and solutions.
Develop and maintain relationships with stakeholders, including business process owners, end-users, and IT stakeholders.
Ensure that stakeholders are informed and engaged throughout the solution development lifecycle.
Testing and Quality Assurance:
Participate in testing and quality assurance activities to ensure that solutions meet business requirements.
Develop and execute test plans and test cases.
Identify and report defects, working closely with IT stakeholders to resolve issues.
Implementation and Change Management:
Support the implementation of solutions, working closely with stakeholders.
Develop and implement change management plans, ensuring that stakeholders are prepared for changes.
Provide training and support to stakeholders, as needed.
Skills and Qualifications:
Business Acumen:
Strong understanding of business operations and processes.
Ability to think strategically and understand the organization’s goals and objectives.
Analytical Skills:
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Ability to analyze complex data and develop creative solutions.
Communication Skills:
Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to communicate technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
Technical Skills:
Familiarity with business analysis tools and techniques, such as use cases, wireframes, and business process modeling.
Understanding of technology solutions and their capabilities.
Certifications:
Certification in business analysis, such as CBAP or CCBA, is desirable.
Education and Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, or related field.
Minimum 3-5 years of experience in business analysis or related field.
Proven track record of delivering successful solutions that meet business needs.
