Book Keeper

Responsibilities:

Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all financial transactions, including income and expenditures.
Manage accounts payable and receivable for the school.
Process and record all invoices, receipts, and payments in the school’s financial system.
Reconcile bank statements and other financial accounts regularly.
Prepare and generate regular financial reports, such as balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
Present financial data to school leadership for decision-making purposes.
Assist in the preparation of reports for school auditors or regulatory authorities.
Serve as a point of contact for staff members regarding financial questions or concerns.
Communicate with vendors, contractors, and service providers regarding invoices and payments.
Assist parents or guardians with billing inquiries, if applicable (e.g., tuition fees, activity fees).

Requirements:

OND, HND or Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field is preferred.
1-2 years of experience as an Accountant or Book keeping.
Experience in school settings is an added advantage.
Excellent communication, attention to details, interpersonal, and problem solving skills
Must be staying within Abule egba, and it’s environs.
