Job Description
As an Accountant at Solar Wizard Nigeria Limited, you will be responsible for maintaining our organization’s financial health through meticulous financial reporting, budget management, and compliance. You will collaborate closely with our finance and management teams to support our business’s growth and sustainability.
Key Responsibilities:
Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
Manage accounts payable and receivable, payroll, and reconciliations
Assist in budget preparation and financial forecasting
Ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards
Conduct periodic audits and manage tax filings
Monitor expenses, cash flow, and financial performance
Support management in decision-making through detailed financial analysis
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
Professional accounting certification (e.g., ICAN, ACCA) preferred
Minimum of 3 years of experience in accounting, preferably in Project management, construction or renewable energy sector
Proficiency in accounting software is a must (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage) and Microsoft Office Suite
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities
Effective communication and interpersonal skills
Previous experience in construction or Project management company would help greatly
