Job Summary:
We are looking for a meticulous and proficient Lab Analyst to strengthen our team. The chosen individual will perform comprehensive chemical analyses, oversee the upkeep of laboratory instruments, and uphold strict adherence to regulatory and safety protocols during all testing processes. Oversee and execute a range of critical duties to ensure operational efficiency and team productivity. Develop and implement strategic plans aligned with organizational goals, while monitoring progress and adjusting approaches as necessary. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to foster innovation, resolve challenges, and maintain high performance standards. Manage resources effectively, including budget allocation and staff development, to optimize outcomes. Perform comprehensive qualitative and quantitative chemical analyses on raw materials, in-process samples, and finished products to ensure compliance with established standards and specifications.
Operate, calibrate, and maintain specialized laboratory instruments, including spectrophotometers, chromatographs, and other advanced equipment, to ensure accurate and reliable performance.
Prepare chemical solutions and reagents for laboratory applications in strict accordance with established formulas and operational protocols.
Examine data meticulously and compile comprehensive reports summarizing test outcomes, with strict adherence to accuracy and regulatory requirements.
Collaborate in the creation and execution of innovative testing procedures and methodologies to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
Maintain strict compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations throughout all laboratory operations.
Maintain meticulous documentation of all laboratory activities, encompassing test outcomes, calibration records, and stock levels of laboratory materials.
Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, including production and quality control, to uphold product quality standards and ensure regulatory compliance.
Engage in laboratory audits and inspections to verify compliance with best practices and applicable regulatory standards.
Qualifications:
Candidates should possess a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field, complemented by a minimum of 3 years of professional experience in software development. Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, or C++ is required, along with expertise in database management systems and software testing methodologies. Familiarity with agile development practices and version control systems is also expected. Additionally, strong problem-solving skills, excellent communication abilities, and the capacity to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment are essential. A Master’s degree or relevant certifications may be advantageous.
A bachelor’s degree in Chemistry or Industrial Chemistry is required.
With a minimum of four years of hands-on laboratory experience, ideally within a relevant sector such as chemical manufacturing or lubricant development, candidates should demonstrate proficiency in practical techniques and protocols.
Skilled in operating a range of laboratory instruments, including HPLC, GC, UV-Vis Spectroscopy, and related equipment.
Demonstrates a comprehensive knowledge of laboratory safety protocols and proper chemical handling techniques.
Proven expertise in analyzing intricate datasets with precision and insight.
Experienced in adhering to laboratory best practices, implementing standard operating procedures (SOPs), and aligning with ISO guidelines.
Possesses exceptional precision, strong organizational abilities, and meticulous record-keeping capabilities.
Demonstrates the capacity to operate autonomously while also contributing effectively within collaborative team settings.
Good communication skills, encompassing both written and verbal proficiency, are essential. Additionally, proficiency in using E.R.P. systems is required.
Proficiency in laboratory information management systems (LIES) is considered advantageous.
Additional prerequisites include a bachelor’s degree in a relevant field, such as business administration, finance, or accounting. At least three years of hands-on experience in a comparable role is essential, along with proficiency in industry-standard software, including Excel, QuickBooks, or ERP systems. Strong analytical abilities, meticulous attention to detail, and the capacity to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment are required. Excellent written and verbal communication skills are also necessary to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders. Candidates must demonstrate a commitment to continuous learning and adaptability to evolving industry trends and technologies.
