Purpose of the Role
The NPHD Business Manager is responsible for overseeing and coordinating the NPHD business’s day-to-day operations, ensuring that all processes run smoothly to achieve the organization’s strategic and financial objectives. S/he is the key NPHD staff upon whom the new vision for NPHD will be achieved and will work closely with the NPHD Board and the management team of NHED where s/he will initially share resources before NPHD attains its full autonomy to achieve its new vision.

To provide strategic input and planning support to achieve organizational goals.
To establish and maintain effective communication with the Board and across other key stakeholders
To ensure cost control and revenue growth of the organisation .
Identify potential human resources with specific skills to deliver in agreed business domains
Develop, market and grow new brand identity for the organization
Support effective team performance for the implementation and efficient business processes for the organization.
Scope of Work
The NPHD Business Manager’s role encompasses operational, financial, and strategic responsibilities. This includes managing and optimizing resources, analyzing data to support decision-making, and collaborating with stakeholders to meet company objectives.
Key Responsibilities
Supervise daily operations, ensuring efficiency and adherence to company policies.
Develop and Manage budgets, forecasts, and financial reports to support sustainable growth.
Collaborate with the Board to develop, implement, and monitor strategic plans.
Identify business domain:
Conduct market research to identify potential business domains within and outside the healthcare sector where NPHD can expand its presence as a consultancy firm;
Evaluate market dynamics, customer needs, and competitive landscape to prioritize strategic opportunities for growth.
Explore emerging trends, technological advancements, and regulatory changes that may create new business opportunities for NPHD
Develop Innovative Products and Services:
Conduct detailed feasibility studies to assess the viability and market demand for new products and services.
Collaborate with industry experts, clients, and stakeholders to identify unmet needs and innovative solutions.
With the Board, Set KPIs, track performance, and implement necessary improvements.
Maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders
Identify operational risks and implement measures to mitigate them.
Deliverables
Monthly and quarterly performance and financial reports.
Updated strategic and operational plans.
Regular updates and recommendations to the NPHD Board.
Continuous improvement initiatives for operational efficiency.
Reporting and Accountability
Reports to: Chairman of NPHD Board
Collaborates with: NHED team and other stakeholders as required.
Skills and Qualifications
Proven experience in business management or a similar role of not less than 5years.
Strong knowledge of business functions (Finance, HR, Sales, etc.).
Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to analyze data, develop insights, and make data-driven decisions.
Relevant educational qualifications (e.g., Bachelor’s/master’s degree in business administration, Management, or related field).
Duration of Engagement
This is a full-time position with a probation period of six months for confirmation based on satisfactory performance.
Performance Evaluation
The Business Manager’s performance will be evaluated based on:
Achievement of operational and financial targets.
Success in implementing strategic initiatives.
Leadership effectiveness and team performance.
Stakeholder satisfaction and feedback.
