Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Chinese Translator to join our team and bridge communication gaps between Chinese and english languagespeakers.
The ideal candidate will have exceptional fluency in both languages, a strong grasp of cultural nuances, and experience in translating a variety of documents, conversations, or media.

Key Responsibilities

Document Translation:

Translate written materials, including business documents, contracts, marketing materials, and technical manuals, from Chinese to Englishand vice versa.

Interpretation Services:

Provide real-time or on-demand verbal interpretation during meetings, conferences, and phone calls.

Content Localization:

Adapt content to ensure cultural and linguistic appropriateness for the target audience.

Editing and Proofreading:

Review and revise translated content to ensure accuracy and coherence.

Research and Collaboration:

Collaborate with subject matter experts to understand specialized terminology.
Conduct research to verify terms and ensure proper context in translations.

Confidentiality:

Handle sensitive information with utmost discretion and confidentiality.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree in Translation, Linguistics, Chinese Language Studies, or a related field (preferred).
Fluency in both written and spoken Chinese and [your preferred language].
Proven experience as a translator or interpreter, preferably in a professional setting.
Proficiency with translation tools and software (e.g., SDL Trados, MemoQ, or others).
Strong attention to detail and ability to work under tight deadlines.
