Responsibilities
Business Development Leadership:
Lead business development activities across multiple organizations, providing direction, guidance, and supervision to business development teams in each entity.
Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with clients, psychiatrists, psychologists, allied mental healthcare professionals, government agencies, private organizations, and other key stakeholders.
Enhance the company’s visibility through community workshops, seminars, and other activities aimed at increasing awareness and relevance.
Define and implement business development strategies that align with the vision, mission, and long-term goals of each organization.
Conduct ongoing market research to identify new business opportunities, competitive advantages, and ways to increase sales, revenue, and market penetration.
Set clear business targets and goals for each organization, ensuring alignment with the overall corporate vision.
Provide commercial and strategic input to clinical development to optimize bed occupancy and meet business targets.
Develop innovative tactics and business plans to drive revenue and growth while meeting evolving market needs.
Oversee proposal preparation, client contracts, and submissions
Continuously expand knowledge of the company’s offerings (products, services, value propositions) and communicate these effectively to drive sales.
Sales & Performance Management:
Pitch products and services to prospective customers, deliver compelling presentations, negotiate contracts, and close deals.
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual sales and business development reports. Conduct performance analysis (Planned vs Actual) using KPIs and metrics.
Conduct a quarterly comparative analysis of all service lines to identify underperforming products/services and develop optimization strategies.
Work with the Social Media team to leverage online platforms, and increase the company’s digital presence to reach broader audiences and attract new business.
Business Team Management:
Lead, inspire, and manage the business development unit, providing training, mentoring, and delegating tasks effectively.
Participate in recruitment to identify the best talent for the business development team.
Organize regular strategy meetings with teams, company lead, and relevant departments to evaluate business performance and explore new opportunities.
Engage in leadership meetings to influence company-wide strategies, systems improvements, and business growth initiatives.
Establish systems to collect and evaluate customer feedback, ensuring continuous service improvement and satisfaction.
Provide management with recommendations to anticipate and meet the evolving needs of clients, ensuring services remain relevant and high-quality.
Perform other related duties as assigned by the CEO.
Requirements
Minimum of a Master’s Degree in Business Administration, or a related field.
7-10 years of relevant experience, with a proven track record of managing and developing large teams.
Experience in the healthcare industry is highly desirable.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and other business tools.
Business-savvy with strong persuasion, negotiation, and strategic thinking abilities.
Expertise in strategy development, budget creation, and report writing.
Excellent multitasking, prioritization, delegation, and project management skills.
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
Strong work ethic and ability to foster a culture of accountability within a team.
Fact-based, strategic, and decisive decision-maker.
Strong interpersonal skills and proven experience in building rapport and managing relationships with diverse stakeholders.
