Summary

As the Logistics / Warehouse Officer, you will work closely with the Logistics manager to shall beplan, manageand facilitatethe overall supply chain needs/requirements of the company including handling deliveries across all locations and branches, liaising with logistics companies/vendors, managing stocks, and other fleet concerns to deliver products on deadlines.
You will be charged with the responsibility of running the storekeeping and stock management of the products shipment, assembled and materials/parts received into the warehouse.

Specific Responsibilities

Strategic planning and management of logistics, warehouse, transportation and customer service with other inventory team.
Overseeing and monitoring of quality, quantity, stock levels, delivery times, transport costs, and efficiency.
Organizing warehouse, categorizing goods, planning routes, and processing shipments.
Tackling and resolving any issues or complaints that may arise.
Plan and schedule shipments to ensure timely delivery to customers.
Keeping track of the cost, productivity, accuracy, and timeline targets.
Overseeing the movement, storage, and distribution of goods or materials.
Resolving delivery inconsistencies or delay.
Optimize transportation routes to minimize costs and maximize efficiency.
Taking care of inquiries or compliance issues related to shipping or transportation matters.
Ensuring that shipping documents are well kept, updated, and in compliance. Examples include cost statements/ receipt, stock counts, delivery of products, product delivery and shipment documents,etc.
Examining, identifying, planning and managing special logistics and warehousing processes or operations which involves ensuring that accurate and complete accounting, reporting, and internal control systems are functioning and that all relevant records are accurately maintained.
Responsible for tracking, receiving, and stocking all items ordered.
Ensure materials are appropriately stored.
Responsible for supervising and accounting of inventory, raw materials supplied for production and finished goods.
Working proactively with the cashier in ensuring and realizing efficiencies in inventory management.
Generate daily, weekly and monthly report of all logistics and warehouse activities.
Communicate with carriers, suppliers, and customers to resolve issues and ensure smooth operations.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Logistics or Supply chain or any relevant field
At least 3 years of proven experience as a Logistics/Warehouse officer.
Excellent analytical, problem solving and organizational skills.
Great commercial and business understanding
Strong leadership and interpersonal skills
Record of successful distribution and logistics management
Ability to work independently and handle multiple projects.
High computer literacy and proficiency in Google suites.
Good knowledge of Lagos Roads and Route.
Must know how to drive with a valid driver license.
Candidates Must reside in Ojo, Mile 2, Amuwo Odofin, Alaba International Market, Tradefair Axis.
