Head of Sales/Business Development

A reputable Insurance Broking firm, a major player in the Nigerian Insurance Industry with proven track record of excellence for four decades seeks to hire a result-oriented professional as its Head of Northern Region (Sales/Business Development). 

Responsibilities

Develop and execute the company’s marketing and sales initiatives
Own and hit/exceed annual sales targets
Effectively communicate value proposition through proposals and presentations
Aggressively grow the firm’s customer base
Participate in Client review meetings, external audit feedback sessions and new business tender processes
Build and Enhance strong relationships with existing and potential clients by offering viable solutions 
Make necessary improvements to ensure optimal operating efficiency across all functions of the business
Prepare and submit monthly and periodic activity/sales reports on the success of your sales endeavours

Requirements

BSc/HND in Insurance, Marketing or other related field
Must be an Associate Member of Chartered Insurance Institute of Nigeria or Chartered Insurance Institute, UK 
5 – 8 years of High-Level Sales/Marketing Experience
Minimum of 5 years Management Experience in the Insurance Industry 
Proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets
Personality: A go-getter, enthusiastic and results-oriented 
Ability to Build, Manage and Lead High-Performance Teams
Excellent communication, negotiation and presentation skills
Good reporting skills
