Human Resources Officer

Position Summary

The role holder will be tasked with managing the day to day administration of Human Resources activities at the client’s office.

‍Key Responsibilities

Develop the organization’s human resource department by planning, implementing, and evaluating employee relations and human resources policies, programs, and practices.
Enforce management guidelines by developing, recommending, and updating human resource policies and procedures.
Manage records by maintaining or designing a filing and retrieval system for keeping records.
Advances productivity and results by counseling and disciplining employees; and planning, monitoring, and appraising employees’ work.
Coordinates HR activities across the organization including: internal and external recruitment, onboarding and induction, payroll and records management, administration of absences and various leave options, training & development, performance reviews, succession planning, exit management, counseling, discipline and grievances, staff welfare, and all statutory requirements.
Maintains a safe and healthy work environment by establishing, following, and enforcing standards and procedures; complying with legal regulations.
Contributes to overall objectives of the operations division by accomplishing related results as needed.

‍Requirements

HND/B Sc in HR or similar field
Minimum of 2 years experience in a human resource position
Demonstrated HR generalist experience and capabilities across the employee life cycle
Experience in HR operations, preferably in the hospitality industry
Ability to develop and present reports
