Job Duties
Identify and adopt the most effective teaching approaches for the students.
Identify and teach skills that will develop students’ ability to work independently and communicate effectively
Teach subject specialization to students, following the school’s curriculum and standards.
Develop and implement engaging lesson plans, materials, and assessments.
Evaluate student progress, provide constructive feedback, and maintain accurate records.
Collaborate with colleagues to enhance teaching methods, share resources, and support student learning.
Participate in department meetings, staff training, and school events.
Communicate with parents/guardians about student progress and concerns.
Contribute to the development of the school’s curriculum and academic programs.
Maintain a safe, inclusive, and respectful learning environment.
Qualification and Skills
Possession of a minimum of Bachelor’s Degree in English Studies or equivalent courses to the related field.
NYSC Completion is Compulsory.
Skillful in 21st-century teaching and learning
P.G.D.E. and T.R.C.N. certification is an added advantage.
Must be fluent in English Language (written and spoken) and should be a go-getter.
Must be passionate about Teaching
Must be conversant with 21st-century ICT Tools.
Must be an excellent team builder and player.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
Teaching certification or qualification.
Must have a minimum of a year of teaching experience.
Strong subject matter expertise and pedagogical knowledge.
