Quality Control Officer

A Quality Control (QC) Officer plays a crucial role in ensuring the quality of products, services, or processes. 

Key Responsibilities:

Ensure adequate batch controls of the feedmill raw materials and ensure clearance is given before milling to make sure of consistency in milling good feed.
Develop, implement, and maintain quality control processes to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
Conduct regular inspections and testing of products, materials, or services to identify defects, deviations, or non-conformities.
Identify, document, and report defects or non-conformities to relevant stakeholders, including production teams, suppliers, or management.
Collaborate with production teams, suppliers, or contractors to implement corrective actions, resolve defects, and prevent reoccurrence.
Collect, analyze, and report quality metrics, including defect rates, failure rates, or other relevant quality indicators.
Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement changes to enhance efficiency, productivity, and quality.
Provide training and awareness programs for employees, suppliers, or contractors on quality control procedures, policies, and standards.
Participate in internal audits, external audits, and regulatory inspections to ensure compliance with quality standards, regulations, and laws.

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field 
Minimum 2-3 years of experience in quality control, quality assurance, or a related field.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Familiarity with quality management systems, regulatory requirements, and industry standards.
