Develop and implement Civic Education lessons in alignment with prescribed curriculum standards to ensure comprehensive coverage and effective delivery of instructional content.
Encourage students to cultivate a sense of civic duty, uphold core values, and deepen their understanding of national identity.
Evaluate student performance and deliver insightful, actionable feedback to support their growth and development.
Tailor instructional strategies to accommodate a wide range of learning preferences and requirements.
Facilitate comprehensive preparation for WAEC examinations as well as internal evaluations to ensure students achieve academic excellence.
Ensure disciplined and productive classroom environments by implementing robust management strategies.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Applicants must possess a bachelor’s degree in a relevant field, supplemented by a minimum of three years of hands-on experience in a comparable role. Proficiency in project management software and advanced Excel skills are essential, along with the ability to communicate effectively in both written and verbal formats. Candidates should demonstrate problem-solving capabilities, adaptability to changing priorities, and a collaborative approach to teamwork. Familiarity with industry-specific tools and compliance standards is highly desirable, as is a commitment to continuous professional development.
A bachelor’s degree in Political Science, Civic Education, or a closely related discipline is required.
A valid teaching certification in the applicable subject area or grade level may be required for this position.
