Senior Finance Officer Weare seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Finance officer with a strong background in fintech to join our team. He/She must have a very deep understanding of the fintech landscape, including regulatory frameworks, market trends, and innovative financial products, while developing financial strategies to forecast and ensure compliance and risk management.
Responsibilities:
Financial Strategy and Planning
Develop and implement financial strategies that align with the company’s goals and objectives.
Leadthe annual budgeting process and long-term financial planning, ensuring alignment with business initiatives.
Financial Analysis and Reporting, Conduct in-depth financial analyses to support decision-making and identify growth opportunities.
Prepare and present financial reports to senior management and stakeholders, providing insights into financial performance and trends.
RiskManagement and Compliance: Monitor and manage financial risks, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies. Collaborate with legal and compliance teams to navigate the regulatory landscape of the fintech industry.
TeamLeadership and Development: Mentor and guide finance team members, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
Drive talent development initiatives to enhance team capabilities and performance.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with product, technology, and operations teams to evaluate financial implications of new initiatives and product launches.
Provide financial insights and support for strategic projects and partnerships.
Market Analysis: Stay abreast of industry trends, competitive landscape, and emerging technologies in fintech to inform strategic decision-making.
Analyze market conditions to identify potential risks and opportunities for the organization.
Requirements:
Minimumof 5years of experience in finance, with at least 3 years in a managerial role within the fintech sector.
Strong understanding of financial modeling, forecasting, and budgeting processes.
Proven experience in financial analysis, reporting, and strategic planning.
in-depth knowledge of fintech regulations, compliance requirements, and risk management practices.
Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and develop talent.
Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex financial concepts to non-financial stakeholders.
Proficiency in financial software and tools; experience with ERP systems is a plus.
