Sales Representative(Paint)

Below are the required job responsibilities of a PAINT SALES REPRESENTATIVE:

Ability to identify prospective customers
Present, promote and sell products using solid arguments to existing and prospective customers
Perform cost-benefit and needs analysis of existing/potential customers to meet their needs
Establish, develop and maintain positive business and customer relationships
Reach out to customer leads 
Generating sales presentations and product demonstrations, as well as negotiating contracts with potential clients
Negotiating contracts with prospective clients, and providing adequate quotations and proposals
Accelerate the resolution of customer problems and complaints to maximize satisfaction
Achieve targets and outcomes within scheduled timeframe
Coordinate sales effort with team members and other departments
Analyse the territory/market’s potential, track sales and status reports
Supply management with reports on customer needs, problems, interests, competitive activities, and potential for new products and services 
Preparing weekly and monthly sales reports
Keeping track of outstanding balances and scheduled collection
Keeping track of customers’ statements 
Stay up-to-date for best practices and promotional trends
Continuously improve through feedback 
Understanding and promoting company programs
Visiting clients and potential clients to evaluate needs and promote products
Maintaining client records
Answering client questions about credit terms, products, prices and availability
Keeps management informed by submitting activity and results reports, such as daily call reports, weekly work plans, and monthly and annual territory analyses.
Monitors competition by gathering current marketplace information on pricing, products, new products, delivery schedules, merchandising techniques, etc.

SKILLS & REQUIREMENTS:

Proven work experience as a Paint sales representative
Understanding of the sales process and dynamics.
Excellent knowledge of MS Office
Able to build productive business professional relationships
Commitment to excellent customer service
Able to identify market trends and customer needs for a given period
Highly motivated and target driven with a proven track record in sales
Excellent selling, communication and negotiation skills
Prioritizing, time management and organizational skills
Ability to create and deliver presentations tailored to the audience needs
