Key Responsibilities
Quality Management:
Develop and implement quality management systems (QMS) that align with industry standards (e.g., ISO 9001).
Conduct regular quality audits and inspections to identify non-conformities and recommend corrective actions.
Monitor product quality throughout the production process, ensuring compliance with specifications and standards.
Analyze quality data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
Develop and implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality.
HSE Management:
Develop and implement HSE policies, procedures, and programs that comply with relevant regulations (e.g., OSHA, environmental laws).
Conduct risk assessments to identify potential hazards and develop mitigation strategies.
Investigate accidents and incidents to determine root causes and prevent recurrence.
Provide HSE training to employees, ensuring they know their responsibilities and safety procedures.
Monitor compliance with HSE regulations and ensure corrective actions are taken as needed.
Documentation and Reporting:
Maintain accurate records of quality and HSE activities, including audits, inspections, training records, and incident reports.
Prepare reports on quality and HSE performance for management review.
Develop and maintain a system for documenting and controlling quality and HSE-related documents.
Qualifications and Skills
At least a Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline, with proven knowledge in ISO 9001:2015 QMS or any Management systems certification
Health and safety certifications.
NEBOSH certification and ISPON membership is an added advantage.
