Light Current Supervisor

Job Summary:

The Light Current Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of light current systems, such as security systems, fire alarms, CCTV, access control systems, and other low-voltage electronic systems. The supervisor will manage a team of technicians, ensure work quality, adhere to safety standards, and ensure timely project completion. This role requires both technical expertise and leadership skills to ensure the proper functioning of systems and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

Team Management: Lead, supervise, and train a team of light current technicians to install, maintain, and troubleshoot low-voltage systems.
Installation & Maintenance: Oversee the installation and maintenance of light current systems, ensuring adherence to project plans, specifications, and safety protocols.
Troubleshooting: Provide technical support for diagnosing and resolving issues related to light current systems.
Quality Assurance: Ensure that all work is completed to the highest standards and in compliance with local regulations and safety guidelines.
Project Coordination: Collaborate with project managers to plan and execute installations, ensuring work is completed on time and within budget.
Client Interaction: Communicate with clients regarding project requirements, updates, and troubleshooting to ensure customer satisfaction.
Inventory Management: Oversee the maintenance of inventory for all necessary tools, equipment, and components used in light current projects.
Reporting: Provide regular reports to management on the status of ongoing projects, team performance, and any challenges faced.
Compliance: Ensure compliance with all relevant standards, codes, and regulations related to light current systems and installations.
Training & Development: Provide ongoing training to the team to enhance their technical skills and ensure they remain updated on industry trends and new technologies.

Qualifications & Requirements:

Education:

 Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, or a related field (preferred).
 Alternatively, a diploma or certification in Light Current Systems or similar technical discipline.

Experience:

 Minimum of [3] years of experience working with light current systems (security systems, CCTV, access control, fire alarms).
 At least [2] years of supervisory or leadership experience in a related field.

Technical Skills:

 Proficiency in the installation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of light current systems.
 In-depth knowledge of electrical systems, low-voltage wiring, and electronic components.
 Familiarity with relevant safety standards, regulations, and industry best practices.

 Leadership Skills:

 Strong leadership and team management skills.
 Ability to motivate, train, and develop team members.

Communication Skills:

 Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
 Ability to interact effectively with clients, team members, and management.
