Exchange Centre Supervisor

Key Responsibilities

Ensure adherence to process when receiving shipment in and out of Exchange centre and proprietary locations.
Ensure all escalations damage, wet, broken, missing goods/items are escalated to appropriate parties and resolved within 72hours
Ensure proper documentations of all shipments
Follow up on all shipments to ensure timely arrival to Partner locations for last mile deliveries.
Ensure shipment sent and received at the partner locations are scanned in via Mercury.
Ensure proper demarcations and management of space within the Exchange centre.
Ensure counts done are confirmed by the security personal on ground and the driver bring in and taking out shipments.
Ensure proper maintenance of all assets.
Enforce housekeeping against both vehicles and locations.
Ensure timely updates are done by Inventory officer, drivers and dispatch riders.
Ensure adherence to SLA (Service level Agreement) timeline.
Constantly check package exception reports on daily basis and ensure they are cleared within 24hours.
Ensure drivers and dispatch deliver/drops off shipments on time and appropriate updates are done.
Comply too in-house safety and security rules.
Ensure safe practice at all times.
Ensure proper housekeeping at all times.
Perform ad-hoc tasks as assigned by supervisors/superiors in support of operations when necessary.

Qualification & Skills

B.Sc. / HND in a relevant course
Minimum of 2 years experience in Inventory Management
Problem analysis and problem-solving skills
Knowledge of customer service principles and practices
Knowledge of MS suite and other relevant computer applications
Organisation skills
Logistics management experience
Time & resource management skill
Safety conscious
Interpersonal skills
Ability to work as part of a team
Ability to manage people
Good communications skills – verbal and written
