Our client is seeking an experienced Private Chef to join their household
The ideal candidate will be skilled in various culinary styles, especially in continental cuisine, and have a strong foundation in baking.
This role requires managing all aspects of kitchen operations, ensuring high-quality food preparation, and maintaining an efficient and organized workspace.
Responsibilities
Possess extensive knowledge of continental cuisine.
Demonstrate proficiency in baking.
Set up the kitchen with necessary cooking utensils and equipment, including knives, pans, and kitchen scales.
Review recipes and gather all required ingredients.
Prepare meals efficiently and ensure timely delivery.
Present dishes with an appealing, high-standard plating style.
Supervise and support kitchen staff as needed.
Adapt recipes to accommodate clients’ preferences or dietary requirements (e.g., reduce salt, eliminate dairy).
Monitor inventory and place orders for food supplies.
Check food freshness and discard expired items.
Experiment with recipes and propose new ingredients or dishes.
Comply with all health and safety regulations and be open to feedback for continuous improvement.
