Job Description
Troubleshoot, repair, and conduct preventive maintenance on Electromechanical Equipment, Pneumatic/Hydraulic Systems, Electric Motors, Pumps, Screw Feeders, Mixers, Boiler s, Gas Generating Plants, Diesel Generator
Inspects Mechanical systems, equipment, or components to identify faults, hazards, defects, or the need for adjustment or repair.
Improve daily mechanical maintenance work to minimize breakdown and downtime.
Maintain an up to date records related to work performed by the team including uncompleted task, leftover materials/spare parts.
Ensure that the team abide by safety regulations, keeping equipment in check to avoid mechanical hazards that could cause harm to others.
Prioritize daily work orders according to their level of importance to meet deadlines.
Implement a total planned preventive maintenance program which follows the manufacturer’s instructions and established procedures as designed.
Perform any other assignment by unit head.
Requirements
Candidates should possess HND / B.Eng Degrees with 5 – 10 years relevant work experience.
A strong working knowledge of technical training, fault finding, and troubleshooting techniques is a must.
Good communication (Written and Oral) skills.
High level of personal responsibility and accountability for results.
Good understanding of mechanical machinery and instrumentation processes.
Ability to interprete Mechanical and instrumentation processes.
Ability to effectively prioritize completing needs and meet deadlines.
Ability to travel at very short notice.
