Job Description:
We are looking for an intermediate-level Procurement Specialist to join our team, where you’ll play a key role in sourcing, negotiating, and managing supplier relationships to support our operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Sourcing and Procurement: Manage the end-to-end procurement process for medical equipment and consumables, ensuring quality, cost-effectiveness, and timely delivery.
RFQs and Tenders: Handle Requests for Quotation (RFQs) and tenders from initiation to completion, including preparation, submission, and follow-up to secure competitive bids.
Vendor Management: Build and maintain relationships with suppliers, negotiate contracts, and assess vendor performance to ensure alignment with company standards.
Inventory Oversight: Collaborate with inventory teams to track and maintain optimal stock levels, addressing any supply chain disruptions or risks.
Compliance and Documentation: Ensure all procurement activities adhere to industry standards and regulations, and maintain comprehensive records for audit and reporting purposes.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with finance, sales, and project teams to support procurement needs and align with company objectives.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, or a related field.
Minimum 2 years of experience in procurement, specifically in medical equipment and consumables.
Strong knowledge of handling RFQs, tenders, and the bidding process in the healthcare sector.
Excellent negotiation, communication, and organizational skills.
Proficiency in procurement software and Microsoft Office Suite.
Familiarity with healthcare regulations and industry standards for medical products is a plus.
