As a Software Engineer, you will get a chance to work on all of our Android codebases and the APIs that power them. You will help build and ship new user-facing features on Android. Additionally, you will collaborate with product, design, and other engineering teams to deliver the highest quality mobile experiences to our supported devices. We are looking for a team player with a keen eye for detail and problem-solving skills.
Qualifications
We are looking for a new teammate with some experience in the following;
1-3 years of experience developing Android mobile applications, with an added advantage of at least 1 sample project on the Google Play Store.
Experience with developing apps with Android SDK.
Familiarity with Room, LiveData, Coroutines, Retrofit, WorkManager, etc.
Knowledge of Android Architecture and experience with third-party libraries and APIs
Have a passion for large and complex platforms and how to optimize your customers’ experience
Ability to enhance team collaboration while working with cross-functional teams
A technical mindset with great attention to detail
Working knowledge of the general mobile landscape, architectures, trends, and emerging technologies
Solid understanding of the full mobile development life cycle from development to release.
Interest in building fintech solutions – wallets, payments integrations etc.
