Responsibilities

To consult with and provide guidance to project stakeholders and management regarding engineering requirements for construction of various designs, modifications, and structural repairs.
Conduct on site investigations and analyze data (maps, reports, tests, drawings and others)
Preparing and implementing project plans.
Assesses strength of foundations, concrete, asphalt, or steel by testing materials and soil. He / she supervises the testing by third party in order to conform with engineering standards.
Researching and providing estimates for projects.
Assesses potential risks, materials and costs
Monitoring and optimizing safety procedures, construction processes, and regulatory compliance.
Confidently liaising with clients and other professional subcontractors.
Estimates materials, equipment, and labour needed to determine project costs.
Monitors project progress and ensures design specifications, safety, and sanitation standards are met.
Project management duties (e.g. managing budgets, resources, and deadlines; acquiring and compiling quotes, etc.).
On completion of a project, inspects, repairs, and maintains the structures as needed.
Performs other related duties as assigned.

Requirements

Candidates should possess a B.Eng Degree with 3 – 10 years experience.
