General Manager, Sales & Marketing

Employment type: Permanent job; full time Key Responsibilities

To build a strong, resilient sales and marketing team in all sales outlets
Acquire, build & maintain B2B relationships with clients, and build new market opportunities
Train the sales team on sales techniques, persistency and Lead Conversion, as well as giving advice
Day to day management of the sales team to ensure they are on track for achieving their Monthly, Quarterly and Annual targets
Develop & analyze customer needs to establish a client centric business environment and propose and implement solutions
Set sales and marketing Key Performance Indicators to manage activity within the team.
Oversee all marketing activities and ensuring it fits with the marketing strategy.
Managing the company’s social media accounts with posts of relevant content.
Reporting on weekly activities to the company’s Managing Director.
Achieving cost efficient operation.
Managing and updating accurate database.

Requirements Qualifications:

Ideal candidate should be a graduate with minimum 5 years post Managerial experience, preferably in sales.

Understands the importance of people in achieving strategic objectives – puts time and effort into being accessible to stakeholders; is adaptable and can operate confidently
Takes accountability and ownership
All round sales and marketing experience gained from a similar sized organization.
Excellent motivational and leadership skills to inspire performance.
Relevant industry experience ideally from a competitor.
Highly motivated with a genuine drive to succeed.
